El domingo día 11 de Abril llegamos a la bahía de Taiohae en Nuku-Hiva, que es la isla mayor y puerto de entrada al archipiélago de las Marquesas e inicio de la Polinesia Francesa. Ha sido todo un record para nosotros el realizar esta travesía de 3.120 millas en tan solo 18 días, cuando la previsión era de casi cuatro semanas. Hemos tenido buenos vientos aunque en ocasiones hemos tenido que ir a motor por ausencia total de viento.

I’m happy that you recover well. Enjoy the the French Polinesia! I have a memory from my chilhood readings of the «dog’s island» where locals trained dogs to fish in the laguna. They run in the laguna and catch the fish with the mouth. Then they put fish in leaves and bury them in the sand to cook. Hope you can find it.

Congratulations in both, specially for this long stage in particularly difficult conditions since the beginning of the year, I am impressed Jaume by your determination without discouraging you. Congratulations also to Carmen,because this step has not been easy for her with moments of anxiety. Later the storm returns the peace and I hope that you is going to redo you a health to continue your journey in better conditions.

Yes, we have had some discouranging moments but our dream is too strong and we are willing to accomplishing it. I am feeling well now and drinking lots of water as you do.
Carmen is also recovered from the bad time when she was really scared but firm.

Hola primos,
Aqui estamos pasándolo bien.
Ayer fui al hospital y me hicieron un chequeo incluyendo analisis de sangre y orina + ecografia bilateral. Todo normal, si hay alguna piedra debe ser pequeñita y si no ha salido, ya saldrá. Mientars tanto sigo bebiendo mucha agua.

Nos alegra mucho que todos los estudios esten bien.
Los cólicos renales más intensos son producidos por litiasis pequeñas en su gran mayoria . Seguramente ya la eliminastes.
A tomar mucho líquido y a seguir remando….. que todavia faltan muchas millas.

hola jaume,soy de Murcia y un admirador vuestro.en octubre baje a Lanzarote desde el mar menor para cruzar el atlantico a primeros de
noviembre,y atracamos en puerto calero.donde coincidi con todos los barcos de la wather blue rally,hasta entonces no sabia de este rally,y mucho menos de un barco español.Os estoy siguiendo desde que regrese de Santa Lucia.y me emociona leer vuestros comentarios y ver los reportajes de fotos,siento una envidia sana,espero que te hayas recuperado de lo que te paso en galapagos.espero conoceros algun dia a tu regreso.

Nos emociona igualmente a nosotros el haber despertado vuestro interés e ilusión.
Ya estoy recuperado y disfrutando de las Marquesas. Esto es bastante diferente, sobre todo a sus gentes y filosofía de vida.
El viernes marcharemos hacia el archipiélago de Tuamotu donde pasaremos unos días por los atolones antes de ir a Tahiti.
